According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, childhood obesity has more than doubled in children and tripled in adolescents in the past 30 years. This condition puts children at risk for prediabetes, bone and joint problems, and sleep apnea — not to mention stigmatization and low self-esteem. T.R.O.Y. Fitness Challenge aims to help reverse this trend.

THE MISSION of T.R.O.Y. Fitness Challenge is to help our youth develop
and maintain a healthy, active, and energized lifestyle through exercise, education, and empowerment.

Active children are more likely to become active adults, creating a cycle of wellness that benefits our youth of today and tomorrow. T.R.O.Y. Fitness Challenge is a 4-week youth fitness program in which kids ages 7-14 not only pledge to adopt a healthy, active, and energized lifestyle but also are given the expert physical training, nutrition information, and motivational support to follow through. T.R.O.Y. Fitness Challenge takes a community approach by including informative parent classes, family fitness activities, and more. T.R.O.Y. Fitness Challenge is a program of Ohana Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
