What?

OWLC is an 8-week "Biggest Loser-style" program in which teams of two compete to lose the highest percentage of total body weight — not strictly by pounds lost—during the competition. However, rather than leaving you to fend for yourselves on your weight loss journeys, OWLC offers free fitness classes and group activities along the way.

WHO?

Anyone age 14 (with parent consent) or older with a BMI of 26% or higher can join. Prizes will be awarded for individuals and two-person teams.

WHEN?

Weigh-ins during this 8-week challenge are Fridays from 10am-1pm and 5pm-8pm at Ohana Wellness Center, beginning with the Initial Weigh-In on Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 and ending with the Final Weigh-In on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018 -- getting you ready to tackle the holidays!

WHERE?

Weigh-ins will take place in the Ohana Gym (look for the OWLC signs) at Ohana Wellness Center, 441 E. Carson St., Carson, CA.

WHY?

We all have our own reasons "why" ... to be a better role model for your kids, to fit into a wedding dress, to make it up the stairs without huffing and puffing, to run your first 5K, to see your children grow up. Whatever your reasons, OWLC can kickstart your journey to a healthier lifestyle.

HOW?

STEP 1. Grab a friend, family member, co-worker or anyone who wants to go on this weight loss journey with you.
