Drug-Free, Surgery-Free, Pain Relief

People of all ages experience nerve pain. Simply put, if you feel pain, the nerve is involved. It could be pinched or irritated by the muscle, the joint tissues, or even spinal discs. Chiropractic is the treatment of choice for nerve pain. By removing the functional joint and muscle irritation, the chiropractic doctor removes the nerve irritation. When you get adjusted, you are getting a systematic nerve tune-up that treats your entire central nervous system, which controls your entire body.

Not only does chiropractic care help you feel better now, without the harmful effects of drugs, but it helps your whole body regain balance and fight the effects of long-term degeneration. When you receive chiropractic care, you are addressing more than just the symptoms. You are addressing the cause.

Consultation. To get a picture of your symptoms or conditions, your chiropractor will ask you about your health and lifestyle and consider that information along with the background you provide on your intake form. This consultation also familiarizes you with the chiropractic process.

Examination. Next, the doctor will perform neurological and orthopedic testing, including checking your vital signs, blood pressure and range of motion — all to assess the condition of your spine and nervous system. The doctor will perform hands-on palpation to familiarize himself with your body’s alignment.

Treatment. Finally, the doctor will determine whether he has enough information to recommend treatment or whether you need additional diagnostic testing. Treatment can include adjustment, physiotherapy (such as ultrasound and electric stimulation), massage therapy, and/or outside referrals.
